The document reads in part: "In the name of his excellency, Sultan Ahmad Shah, after the death of Mirza Ahmad Lashkar Nivis (of the royal artillery), the comfort of those surviving him is the shah's will; hence, under this command, half of the deceased's stipend, which is 180 tumans, will be allocated as follows: the state stipend of the late Mirza Ahmad Lashkar Nivis was 360 tumans. This amount, minus 180 tumans, is 180 tumans: his heirs will receive 180 tumans.
